What is Life Coaching?

Life coaching is a relationship between the coach and client that focuses on the client’s strengths and gifts to hone in on the “thing that is missing” in their life and make steps towards reaching it. Sometimes referred to as Wellness Coaching because it addresses all areas of the woman’s life, including physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual to help establish whole body wellness.  Life coaching is not counseling or psychotherapy. It does not diagnose or treat. Life coaching is different from mentorship in that it is guided by the client’s goals and desires for their life, rather than the coach’s.

A life coach offers fresh perspectives, motivation, and accountability to help you determine your goals and stay on track towards achieving them. Life coaching can offer a more efficient and effective way to fulfill your life purpose and become your best “you”.

Why is it sometimes called Wellness Coaching?

This type of coaching puts a little more focus on the physical well being of the client initially. This could be viewed as a personal training session with a little extra boost. It addresses fitness, nutrition, stressors, and strategies for healthy living as its main components. My coaching services can almost always be categorized as wellness coaching, because my goal for each woman is to find wellness through health and balance in each area of her life.

How would I benefit from Coaching?

Life and wellness coaching is results driven based on the client’s goals. It provides that extra support that can make all the difference when working towards success. Just as an athlete finds greater success with the help of a coach, a life coach can offer that same type of support to help you reach your full potential. So, whether you just need a little help overcoming a small hurdle or looking for someone to partner with you for long-term success, a life coach is a great asset.

How does it work?

If you are near the York, Pennsylvania area, you may prefer to meet in person for your sessions. Otherwise, our sessions will be over the phone, FaceTime, or via Skype. Each coaching session is 50 minutes and is typically offered three to four times per month and includes emails and brief “celebration” or “crisis aversion” calls/texts in between. Each client will have a customized program designed according to their needs. Though not required, it is recommended that a client commit to at least three months at the beginning for optimum success.

Personal training sessions take place in my York studio or virtually and can take place as many times per week as you prefer. Each client can modify their package according to individual needs (see specific services for more information).

How much does it cost?

Liz will work with you to design the right program for your specific needs. Packages typically range from $75-150/session.
